Dan was first introduced to music through his father who encouraged his musical abilities. In 1998, he started to teach himself the piano, reading music, and the like. He then studied piano with Mrs. Joann Caltabiano during his freshman year of high school and in 2003, moved his musical interests from the piano to the organ.

From 2003 to 2005, Dan studied with Mr. Christopher Berke, then Organist and Musical Director of St. Frances X. Cabrini Roman Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida and now Musical Director at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle in St. Petersburg. Upon graduating from Nature Coast Technical High School, Dan started his studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florida and was a organ student under the direction of Dr. Laura Ellis from 2005-2009. Dan was an active member of the Gainesville Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, assisting as Newsletter Editor and Webmaster from 2006 to 2010.

In 2009, Dan transferred to St. John Vianney College Seminary in Miami to start his education and formation as a Roman Catholic priest. Graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, he then took two years away from seminary to step back and continue to listen to God's will in his life. During his first year, he returned to work as a Draftsman/Design Engineer at a local company. He returned to the Diocese of St. Petersburg the following year and assigned to St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, FL. After this wonderful year, a decision was made to not continue with his studies toward the Catholic priesthood.

Dan currently lives in Brooksville, FL and has returned to his works as a CAD Draftsman/Design Engineer.
